You're looking at the result for aesthetic value not Platonism. And by the measure of "most" meaning majority it would still be most.

A distro where only the kernel is rolling and cutting edge while the rest is slower paced sounds like the worst of both worlds to me. My favorite part of Arch is the rolling packages and my least favorite is the rolling kernel. I dislike ha

I don't understand how you interpreted the comment you replied to as taking a stance of "they were modern functioning states". The negation of causing disarray is not causing disarray. Relax with the strawmen.

It always reminded me of what you see when you take a high ISO photo in pitch darkness. Noisy and sometimes greyish depending on camera settings.

It's so annoying how "CJK" groups Hangul with completely different writing systems. And even makes people think they're similar.

Ah, the joys of first past the post. The largest minority takes all. Also agree with the point about elite support. Not every supporter counts equally in terms of political support. Even in democracies this is the case.

I've noticed that many commenters on this insightful orange website like to bash on strawmen extrapolated from the headline or intro paragraph. They seem to think that this will make them come across as a critical thinker.

It seems like copyleft is a solution to that sort of problem in the software domain but obviously not really in this context. Another issue is that animal researchers are at risk of being targeted by a smear campaign by anti-animal research

If you read the article it talks about exempt vs non-exempt and how salaried workers that make over $35,568 and do "higher-level work" are exempt from overtime. Those that are not exempt get 1.5x pay for overtime and 2x for double
