This is the way to do it, until the graphics guy wants the box to have a drop shadow. The pseudo elements' shadow is square, so your options are either to hope that nobody notices that the arrow doesn't have a shadow (like in this example),

How many actually do more than 4 hours of work in a day? Installing a monitoring tool like RescueTime can get you some interesting results about how many hours you are actually being productive. RescueTime says I'm currently doing about 56

It's annoying if a web page opens regular links in a new tab without you explicitly telling it to do so. You could make a Greasemonkey script that changes the link targets in HN, if there isn't one already.

Previously the auto-complete required you to press tab. Now it shows a list of possible completions as you type, from which you can select the correct one.

Using the vintage mode without the block cursor is annoying. It's really hard to see when you are in command mode and when in insert. I'm using this block cursor plugin https://github.com/netpro2k/SublimeBlockCursor but it has some bugs

Agreed. The post offered at least one way to think about what you want to do in life. I for one don't have a clue about what I would most like to do. I do have a sense that my current job isn't it. But I think it would be foolish to search

OT, but the font used in the blog makes it very hard to read. Font face rendering seems to differ depending on OS and browser so I'm not sure if it's just my system (OSX / Chrome).
