I feel like that's more the "small" effect. Humans are generally more community-minded in small groups than in big ones because we were built for groups where everyone recognizes everyone else. So big groups where nobody reco

It’s true if you buy/compare a random MacBook and a random PC. A 5-year lifespan and good performance is basically guaranteed for all Macs, but you have to make sure you don’t have one of the crap Windows PCs (the ones that do stuff li

No. See [Concurrency vs. Parallelism]( https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1050222/what-is-the-diff... ). The tasks run concurrently, but not in parallel.

I had to look M:1 threading up too - it's this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thread_(computing)#M:1_(user-l... Basically OP was saying that JavaScript can run multiple tasks concurrently, but with no parallelism

I mean, Anubis does allow you to change the image to whatever you want. (edit: apparently the feature is behind a paywall unless you edit the source code) I kinda like the Anubis girl though (as you said, subjective)

This has been my experience with software dev teams and Macs lol (the software’s quality on MacOS is directly proportional to the number of team members who have Macs)

Yea, so if Apple didn’t copy the other company’s work, they’d have been forced to buy devices from or license the other company’s work. So instead of your money for the blood oxygen sensor going to that company, it went to Apple.

Yea, especially since the people who get the highest grades in HS, in the US where you have a decent amount of latitude to pick your classes, are generally just the students who refused to take any hard class.

You can use a third-party password manager to handle passkeys. I recommend Bitwarden personally.
