The link you link literally explains how GrapheneOS doesn’t support Play Integrity and apps should use the Hardware Attestation API instead.

For a less biased source, check out BSBench (where Claude dominates, and the highest rating GPT is 2x worse): https://petergpt.github.io/bullshit-benchmark/viewer/index.v...

Nope, I use GitHub Copilot (agentic mode) and I end up having to use the (more expensive) Claude model because ChatGPT never second-guesses me or even itself. Gemini is slightly worse though.

Before he went in for Trump he created an obviously fake, insanely expensive system that could never work in practice (Hyperloop) just to slow down California rail projects

Claude Opus 4.6 is the best possible model to use in this test, with the least sycophancy. OpenAI and Gemini models are bad in comparison.

Hybrids are kinda the worst of both worlds though - you have all of the disadvantages of a internal combustion engine (maintenance costs, carbon footprint, fuel dependence), and all the disadvantages of a battery (car is more expensive, bat

Those options don’t really exist though. The cars that cost 3x as much (new ones at least) are also doing the same thing.

You can get that in wireless headphones too though? Most of those have a similarly shaped cable that goes across the headphones; there’s not a separate Bluetooth receiver on each side.

All good wired headphones and earbuds (“IEMs”) have replaceable cables. And the ones that don’t are super cheap.

I tested this and based on my testing it’s (3). The AirPods microphone actually gets (slightly) better in quality if you don’t play something through the speakers while using it. Even then the 3.5mm ones were better tho

Windows Phone couldn't run the majority of desktop Windows apps (those developed with the "Win32" API). They developed an entirely separate API for Windows Phone apps and it was similarly locked down as iOS/Android.

Probably a one off? Instagram’s e2ee was opt-in from the start- and meanwhile Facebook Messenger is now “e2ee for everyone” and none of this is affecting the main e2ee messaging apps people use - WhatsApp, Signal, and iMessage

I mean, not sure if this makes sense? The creativity you put into code is about what it does (+ documentation, comments), not about how it’s formatted. I could care less how a programmer formatted their website’s code unless it’s, like, an

Why would it be the end of traditional home PCs? If you can buy this much compute power for $600, who would pay a subscription for another computer?

I didn’t say that I chose to accept the book and then threw it away. I said that I said no and the other person proceeded to drag out the interaction in a way that made everyone there uncomfortable.

As someone who has been pressured to take a book by random (mostly religious) people on a college campus, I wouldn't put the blame entirely on the person taking it.

Socketed RAM is fine, but what do you mean by storage doesn’t fail often? It’s usually the first part that fails on any computer.

I feel like the 8GB limit is partially market segmentation. If they had a 12GB or 16GB model, everyone would buy that instead of the Air/Pro and they would lose money

The server that acts as the control plane needs to have full access to the outside internet. You can’t do NAT hole-punching through STUN if you are yourself behind a NAT. (There is Headscale though)

I feel like “web wrapper” apps aren’t super popular nowadays. Most apps are either fully native or use something like React Native, that renders with native widgets.
