And that's why real estate market is so bad in DE/AT. Folks are terrified of investing in stock market, even through ETFs. So it's either put everything in a Sparkonto, where it gets eaten by inflation or buy housing.

IMHO the ergonomics of their tooling are not great. I'd rather use Codex or even OpenCode. Configuration alone is very arcane with lacking documentation. Sandboxing/permission system is quite confusing too.

In any case, pretty much everywhere in the developed world, we desperately need lower burden on people's labour (through salary income tax and related contributions). If wealth tax is a way to get there, so be it.

It was the same in communist Poland. You were not allowed to be a lefty -- all the citizens had to be homogenous. My father was born a lefty and forced to write with his right hand in primary school. He ended up learning how to write upside

You can run Codex Desktop on Linux. It's on AUR already. Granted, just a repacked ASAR from Windows version but still does work quite well. Haven't tested connection to mobile yet but the integration with cloud environments alread

I tried using it to reproduce my favourite Soda Dark / Sunburst colour combination from Sublime Text. It was a really sisyphean task. In the end I fed some screenshots (and original ST4 config) to AI studio and it came up with somethin

We should ask the agents to output TeX instead. /s On a serious note some kind of rich Markdown would definitely help.

That's not really my experience as a person born and raised in Poland. If anything the decades of communist occupation destroyed the work ethic. We have a famous saying "whether you stand or lay down, you deserve 1000zł".

That's a big simplification. There were plenty of ethnic Jews who already converted to Catholicism (or remained atheist) and identified as regular Polish citizens. There were also mixed families who were exterminated as a whole nonethe

Not really. Looking at Polish MPs for example, there's no clear pattern, rather a "healthy" mix from all parties with some random selection of opposing ones.

If this one is anything like the previous ones, ThinkPad is still beating it in the keyboard department. Plus you get x86_64 and vendor support for Linux. X13 is probably the best equivalent in Lenovo's line.
