From latest phones of known brands I pretty much only get Google Pixel 4A (144 mm) and Asus Zenfone 8 (148 mm). I wouldn't consider these small phones.

Thanks OP, I'm asking this myself for last 3 years. I think I'm gonna stick with my Xperia XZ2 Compact until it literally breaks apart. It's been quite good last 3 years. I couldn't find any Android phone under 140mm sin

Singapore actually has surprising amount of nature (for a dense city state). Big forests are in the north but even in the south there's this coastal hiking trail that mostly stays within the jungle, with occasional parks/gardens e

Experienced a very similar situation in Berlin. I assume it may actually be a norm. Loyalty to the company > experience/skills.

It is quite pricey (or you can buy the cheaper 16-track version) and still missing some substantial DAW features, so it's not an obvious choice.

I currently use Bitwig because it's the only Linux-native DAW that I can grasp. If Ableton released a Linux version, I'd probably switch.

I've been using Pipewire for over a year now. Both for normal desktop tasks and music production. It's just great. So much better than just Pulseaudio or JACK. And at times even better than these two combined. I have 4 soundcards

It's not so much about "price benefits" as the better climate. We're tired of cold and rain, here in the north.

I really wish D was used more widely by companies. Out of all "new C" propositions, this is the one that appeals to me the most. But it seems a bit counter-productive to commit yourself to it, since it's not gonna help you ge

I only use Instagram because some of my friends refuse to leave WhatsApp, and we still want to exchange pictures and memes. I still avoid having any meaningful/private conversations on FB products.

Don't hold your breath. We have plenty of political forces here that don't like encrypted communication. SPD in Germany would gladly see Telegram be completely banned. They even brag about this in their own party-media: https:&#x

My bad. I meant Gitlab. Cloudflare reached 212 in November. Now it's down to 109. Gitlab reached 125 in November. Now down to 73. Coinbase was at 342 in November. Now it's 203.

The part about power usage is interesting. I work on a T14 AMD and yes, I had the annoying wake-ups when closing the lid. But this was fixed by the firmware upgrade. I cannot relate to battery drain when sleeping. I can leave the laptop asl

Amazon Kindle (only bought two devices over 10+ years of usage), even the cheapest version. I find myself reading much more, I love having dictionaries and Wikipedia built-in. Travelling is so much easier than even with a paperback novel. B
