For everyone freaking out about this consider that half the country doesn’t owe the irs any money because they make too little. So poor people are by definition unaffected. In addition, not paying taxes is literally illegal so not sure why

they are young but: 1. They have parents which should know better. (especially when cosigning loans). 2. They dont have to go to the most expensive school. I could have gone to a much more expensive school like NYU or USC but chose to go to

don’t get why everyone’s pretending you need to live in silicon valley or a major metro area to tinker for 6 months. i saved enough from a year in silicon valley to support myself multiple years in other parts of the country.

it has. there’s twin studies where they are adopted to differnt families and yet end up scoring the same on IQ tests later in life and end up with similar levels of educational attainment and income etc

The chinese accept their authoritarian regime simply because of the immense economic growth they’ve had over the past few decades. Not long ago they were starving under Mao. No one revolts under good times and risks going back to starvation
