It's interesting to me that Apple's complaint is that anyone could get their crappy music into iTunes for $40 and that's a problem, but that free is fine.

Democracy seems reasonably alive at a state level. Most of the complaints & problems seem to be with the federal government.

I think this is one of the clearest explanations, to me, of the similarity and differences between nullable & Maybe types. Both encode "n + 1" possible values, but the nullable version pretends it encodes only "n" va

I was impressed that Unreal was running in the browser via Javascript. Unreal Engine 3 is a much more resource intensive engine so that being able to run in the browser is even more impressive.

I find http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/kindle/dp/2012/KC... saddening. Comparing battery life in completely different units? Isn't that something of a sleazy marketing "trick"?

From the article: So what does this mean for Yesod? A lot, actually. FP Complete will be bringing Haskell to commercial users, and Yesod will be a big part of that. FP Complete is very supportive of the entire open source Haskell community,

http://hyperpolyglot.org/ provides comparisons between various "families" of languages - not just the above. But there isn't a comparison between, say, Ruby and Haskell.
