I think voice is a fine interface for a lot of smart home things. If I'm watching TV and want the lights on/off, I don't want: * To have to reach for my phone * To have a tablet mounted within reach (that's more clutter)

Honestly I would love to see it be the norm, maybe even law, that a recommendation is accompanied by a reason for the recommendation. Is this because I watched a similar video? Or is it because you snooped on my microphone when I was at the

I believe Facebook recommendations are somewhat bidirectional - if they visited your Facebook page (by searching you, even if they didn't add you), I think Facebook will recommend that you add them.

1en = 10 ^ n. So 1e0 = 10 ^ 0 = 1, 1e1 = 10 ^ 1 = 10, 1e2 = 10 ^ 2 = 100, etc.

Please tell me that you don't think deepfakes are only ever going to be distasteful. Once this becomes more commonplace, you're going to see it being applied to more personal connections - e.g., deepfaking pornography about friend

For one real application of blue noise in particular, see https://youtu.be/Ge3aKEmZcqY?t=1350 (22:30 is a good starting point). Here Casy explains a grass planting algorithm for games, where white noise wouldn't be sui

Lazy I/O is widely regarded as a mistake, I don't really know any Haskell programmers that advocate that anymore. We have plenty of other approaches that have a better foundation.

A smart watch is only touching one point of the body. More complex ECGs need multiple locations to measure a circuit through the body (that's my naive understanding).

WeWork isn't an open plan office. At least, not the one I work in in London. We just pay an extraordinary amount of money for a small glass-walled room. We internally have an open plan office, but that's just because we opted for

70g is definitely not "absurdly high". The British Nutrition Foundation recommends 0.75g per kg bodyweight, though it's unclear if that's lean or not ( https://www.nutrition.org.uk/nutritionscience/nu

When CoC's exist to foster inclusivity, exactly which "contrarian opinions" are you feeling are being suppressed? That's it's OK to harass or exclude minority groups? I am not trying to put words in your mouth, but
