Ha, that's fair. I actually think I have a very low tolerance for awkwardness. I think people quickly grasp the reason why I'm doing it -- we all wear gloves, so the benefits are obvious to my fellow labmates.

Both. The watch doesn't require a normal speaking level voice, so it's less awkward than speaking to Siri on my phone. It still feels a little weird, but people in the lab are used to it at this point. The most awkward time is whe

Not exactly a public setting -- but in the lab, I use raise-to-activate Siri on Apple Watch for setting timers and doing basic arithmetic (e.g. "what's 3% of 42 ml?"). It's been really helpful, since I have to have glove

When I read the headline, I thought "that's not too bad, she just thinks they are a bad cultural fit with the company". Then I read the article and went "ohh, she means THAT kind of energy".

It sounded like a mini-draft to me, so I'd say it's probably as legal as a draft is.

This is one of the websites that think you're using a private browser if you use the iOS 13 beta. I wonder if it is because of new privacy features, or just because they don't recognize the user agent.

This is somewhat unrelated, but I think the Microsoft 2FA (in Outlook, Skype, Xbox, etc.) has a lot of unnecessary friction. After entering my password, the app usually takes me to a second page where I am required to type out my email addr

You are correct about dual apps and widgets, but iOS had customizable keyboards for a while, and iOS 13 adds a built-in swipe keyboard.
