Yeah this literally just happened to me this morning hence the usually reliable comment on the software. Took a bit of Googling to figure out what the Watch considers as exercise: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/

I haven’t ever been too keen on smartwatches and never really tried anything beyond a Fitbit. I recently ordered a Series 6 and I’m absolutely loving it. I can positively say this device on my wrist is the best thing I’ve done for my health

Right there with you. It’s a little disheartening that I hesitate to tell people where I’m based because of the precedent these people have set.

Hey HN, I got pretty annoyed with the massive influx of productivity YouTubers and Medium morning routing gurus so I built this (admittedlly immature) extension to have some fun! Inspired by this comment: https://news.ycombinator

Nothing against this specific post but with the massive influx of productivity YouTubers and Medium morning routine gurus I increasingly feel like blacklisting the word “productivity” entirely.

I thought I’ve heard that name before. Anish is also one of the teachers of Missing Semester of CS [1]. One of the best courses I have taken as a college student! [1]: https://missing.csail.mit.edu/

Yep! Every cell can hold values from a list. You can read more about it from where I originally found it: https://www.reddit.com/r/dataisbeautiful/comments/5lh6tc/eve...

I use one sheet every day to track my time. It’s simple enough with 24 x 365 cells for each year’s sheet. It takes me around 30s a day to fill it out. It’s mostly guesstimating what I was doing during the day. It’s a fun way to look back on

Looks great! This coupled with tldr would prove incredibly useful for some of my friends trying to get used to Linux.

Most HNers have their emails listed on their profiles and encourage sending a message. That could be a good starting point!

Definitely agree. Finding a good starting point is equally difficult.
