I am going to sit this one out, though very much looking forward to RDNA3. Absolutely hate how 4080 16GB and 4080 12GB are completely different products under the same name. That's good old nvidia for you.

Incidentally, the chip is code-named Preshott 2 Snark aside, I have a couple of 3700x machines and an itch. Kind of split between upgrading my gaming machine (not entirely worth it) or changing the mini-ITX and severely undervolting a 7700x

Vue is the sort of GUI framework I would've written if I had the talent to do so. Thanks to its reactive nature, powerful things can be extremely easy. Very nice if one knows what they're doing. Power can be misused by the less ex

In the 2011 game Hard Reset there are smart kiosks shouting "Special discount for smart people" when you go near them. Always made me smile because I've seen people fall for this sort of thing in real life

Thanks for writing all that instead of me. I've heard the "we are not looking for someone to blame, just fix it" too many times. That sort of reasoning strikes me as protecting people's egos as if that's more import

I can't think of a single good reason to have infinite scrolling bar but I have been asked to implement them multiple times. Bad, bad, bad... for the user.

Thanks, we couldn't deduce this alleged reasoning by ourselves. This must be a new take on the word "private".

A guy from South Africa once made the same argument about Sweden. Whether he was right or not, geographically speaking, does not really matter. We all know what everybody means. Nordic good, Eastern bad. Sadly, it's mostly true.
