I'm still failing to see how this material would provide strength. In a composite structure like you suggested, the two sheets could still crush the microlattice on the inside. It doesn't seem stronger than foam during compression

Even so, I don't see how this could replace the foam in a conventional helmet. It seems like it has its strength in its elasticity, but not much else. The video did a poor job at explaining good applications.

What it seemed like happened was the Maxis developed a great (or at least good) game, and EA came in and stuck their own requirements in where they didn't belong, which then caused all the issues.

Can Source 2 really compete with UR4 and Unity5? HL2 was amazing for it's time, but the reason that Portal looks so good is because most of the animations and lighting effects are pre-rendered.

I tried that, but the trackpad didn't work. Buttons were all fine, but I want to be able to be able to kick back and not worry about grabbing a mouse.

It seems like they are referring to UI tools, not new HTML5 specs. Also, you can still debug with the other versions of FireFox.

I tried implementing a token-based authentication system, and it worked fine for a while. Then we added a subdomain (login.mysite.com) for registering, and it all went to shit. They don't share the same localStorage, so keeping the tok

Beyond "for the fun of it", what is the purpose of this? So that hackers can run other hackers' games? Why not spend that effort writing games for an open platform like the web, or for iOS/Android and have the possibilit

It's pretty cool to see him talking about his experiences now. Shameless plug:My friend is choreographing a ballet that covers some of these events, and she's been able to talk a bit with Jake. Check out this great Daily Dot artic

It wouldn't keep people from the site, but they would spend less time on it. Not sure if that would decrease their ad views, or increase views because users aren't wasting time reading comments.

Actually, Fancy's design is basically the same as before. They just have a slightly translucent header and the system icons have a dark grey background instead of the standard flat black.
