If you take your car from the UK to mainland Europe (or vica versa) then you're required by law to fit headlamp beam adapters[0]. These essentially point both your headlights down to avoid blinding people who are now on the "wrong

It’s relatively common in the UK. According to this BBC article[0] the Ministry of Defence deal with about 60 a year. There was one washed up on the beach last month in Brighton near me[1]. [0] What do we know about unexploded WW2 bombs? h

Another simple tool similar to this is makesure[1]. It’s written in shell so the idea is you include makesure itself in your repo, which avoids needing to install another tool to run commands on your project. It’s very simple so isn’t good

Any diesel van that is Euro 6 compliant won’t need to pay this, which covers any van made since late 2016. Petrol vans made since 2006 are all compliant with the ULEZ and don’t need to pay either. It’s only older, more polluting, vans that

I've never had this in the UK, even with fairly new ones. Looking at the models offered there doesn't seem to be any mentione of a feature like that, even on the higher end models.

I assume this is referring to the US? I don’t know anyone who does much over 40 hours in the UK, let alone anything close to 80 hours. A few might pick up urgent tasks on the weekend, but only when needed and not regularly.

Force Touch was discontinued in 2019 and replaced with a simple “long press” feature called Haptic Touch. iPhone 11 and later and Apple Watch 6 and onwards don’t have the pressure sensitive layer anymore.

A Freehouse means a pub that is owned independently of the brewery that supplies it. Many pubs are owned by a brewery and rented to someone who runs it (the landlord).

A Mac is unix-like on its own so a lot of Linux tools work directly on MacOS without the need for anything like WSL. If you want an actual Linux environment though, then yes you need to use Virtualbox or Docker.
