Nice. Thanks for sharing lessons learned and tools that encode this knowledge. I work on container cluster management full time myself. I am focusing on AWS ECS so the problems are very different technically but very similar conceptually. T

This is great. Trying to keep project management synced between Trello and GitHub is busywork. GitHub is a major source of truth for a project, so tools that manage it are really great. I'll be giving Zube a spin.

No sarcasm. This is a simple explanation of where LXD fits into the stack. If you don't know what LXC is maybe this isn't clear. But LXC stands for LinuX Containers, and is extremely fundamental technology in the containerization

This looks really nice. I build out major productions systems on top of LXC at Heroku, and to this day it is still working incredibly well. So I am really looking forward to further iterations of the tools by Stéphane Graber and co at Canon

Thanks for sharing your experience here, I'll go straight to lego when I go to set it up. It's hard to beat the simplicity of a Go binary for system tools like this.

This is fascinating to watch. The Bitcoin block chain is an explicit distributed consensus algorithm. The Bitcoin community is an implicit consensus-based human system. The two are inextricably linked because humans put hard-earned dollars

Nice work! Kubernetes is a really neat and important piece of tech, but there's so much more tooling needed to make a team productive around it. Thanks for building awesome tooling and making it open source!

There is something really ironic about going to a dedicated VR facility. Dont get me wrong, I'd love to check a place like that out. But if this is the era of mainstream VR, you'll never have to leave the house to jack in.

Nothing on AWS will give you the UX that LogDNA is delivering. And a good experience working with logs can be a huge productivity and visibility boost to your team. But the infrastructure components are certainly there on AWS. CloudWatch Lo

Gopher Gala was a very well run world wide event, with lots of great projects that resulted. I hope everyone had a fun time participating and learned more about Golang. I had the privilege of judging Gopher Gala this year. Congrats to Goad.

Orchestration isn't monetizable either. Amazon is giving it away for free on ECS. Fleet, Mesos, swarm and kubernetes are effectively different implementation details too. Operating these things as infrastructure services with high SLAs

Not true. Managing OS images is the killer app for containers. Containers power the Heroku platform and it supports millions of apps by containerizing OS images. When both the bamboo stack and cedar stack were available, we would: Run a bas
