I’m sorry I’m pretty pro WFH but AirBnB directly benefits from remote workers setting up seasonal offices from vacation destinations. Part of why their business dropped is they went from nearly seasonal residence rentals for digital nomads

I tried added passkeys to my Google account, then tried to login thru incognito browser. It gave me the option for logging in with a passkey — and then showed me a QR code to scan???? Where did I go so wrong??

One other note is the climate in the US is hotter and more humid, which makes perspiration from simply walking a mile a much more impactful exercise than in say London.

I’m skeptical of that mile or less comment. Most likely it involves picking up groceries or other heavy goods, transporting children, and ignores inclement weather — all which are difficult to impossible by bike and a large hardship by foot

My MacBook Pro was supported by OS updates for a DECADE. I have a MS SURFACE Laptop Gen 1 from 2018 I can’t update to Win 11 — and will EOL in 2026. That’s from the flagship microdot branded laptop.
