I mean their in story VR rig was from the early 90s, that was part of the gag. I just thought of that clip when I saw the headline, but I will say the Disney one is truly amazing

I really don’t grok all the random chats I get notified for. I was in a meeting two months ago, and there’s still a chat getting updates in my feed. So many random auto generated chat groups that linger that I have to prune and wonder “will

How does it compare to the energy ratio of US fracking? It’s a similar process of using heated water (though not steam so maybe a greater volume of water) to break the oil from shale. It uses a ton of water. I think more than oil sands so,

I fit 3 diono car seats across my Honda Fit. Most aren’t even using the 3rd row for seating. Now a wagon or SUV is good for carpooling, but a minivan obv would be best.

Pretty sure it’s embraced by Millenials. Kids toys and room decorations used to be vivid bright colors, and now they are a sea of beige highlighted with very faint pastal colors if they have color at all. https://www.crateandbarr

Do you have a family, with 2-3 adult users of credit cards? We have pages and pages of charges each month, between groceries, camps, classes, school fees, school projects, birthday gifts, and now and then a teen grabbing coffee with friends

I would guess most Apple Vision Pro users are using Apple Music anyways? Though I’m not even sure how relevant audio apps are to a VR headset? I guess they do music videos, but hardly seems like core application to headset.

I assumed Apple will be running these apps in a container that it thinks is an iPhone, and then project it onto a virtual screen in augmented space. I guess maybe resolution maybe an issue — so maybe it will be the web version or a AppleTV

I’m a little confused by this, 38% DO want to be managers. Is it a pyramid, so you can’t even have the majority become managers so this feels like supply is matching demand?

They don’t get unemployment benefits or severance? Harsh Cloudflare is still not profitable right, so payouts for what seems like a routine layoff process probably will remain low to conserve capital.

That may well be the case. But I’m not driving far, it’s just while my car is in shop. Gas is $2.90 here, and the rentals was a Chevy bolt — so not a Supercharger right, some non Tesla connector I have to track down? I think it was $25 flat

There is also the fact that charging takes longer, even with supercharging, right?

Literally made the same decision last night for a rental. I had no idea how to charge an electric car and did not want to have to deal with figuring it out on top of everything else. They charge you $25 if you return it not fully charged, w
