I like what Greplin is trying to do , but I wont sign up for an account. I am uncomfortable authorizing one service to access so many of my accounts. Edit: Greplin doesn't request usernames or passwords. I updated my comment accordingly.

Try http://99designs.com/ You probably would have gotten more responses if you had asked a general question like "Ask HN: Who do you outsource design work to?"

Sorry about that. If I post the scores again, I'll do so w/o giving away anything in the title.

Thank you for the offer. I did some more research and I found a few good resources for normal Jeopardy games. I have less of an itch to scratch right now, so I think I will just hack on my main project tonight.

You should add the "rel=nofollow" attribute to the links that you show on your website. You can damage your search engine rankings with spammy outbound links.

I whole-heartedly agree. You don't need to do anything yourself, except for releasing the data. Please don't, under any circumstances, delete the dataset. Edit: Regarding your original question, I think that a torrent would be much more use

You can only see the browse page when you are logged in. Most people glancing at the page probably didn't create accounts - I plan on playing around with the service and I still haven't created an account.

Use it however you want. However, don't post a comment if you aren't willing to explain why you disagree with a well thought-out post.

I see the same now, but there was originally a slideshow and site tour. Here is a summary: 1. You start a story and invite a few friends 2. Your friends take turns writing small sections of the story, in a predetermined order. 3. Other user

I think Tycho would agree. If the comment improved the discussion, it couldn't have been "bad for the world."

Perhaps you were being sarcastic and trying to illustrate situations in which someone downvoting is useful. :) If not: Just because you have the freedom to do as you like, that does not mean that your decision is automatically correct. Th

If you have a wordpress blog, you can try out Disqus and it will keep your comments even if you disable it. I used Intense Debate for my Wordpress blog. After some annoyances, I disabled it and switched back to Wordpress' own comments. I'll
