Reading the article made me think that this is how medical doctors work. All diseases are codified and symptoms are errors. Doctors try to match the error to the error code and take action by prescribing codified medications.

They say something very interesting. If VAR existed then Maradona's famous hand of God goal would have been cancelled and he would have been ejected with a red card. And the world would never have seen his next goal, one of the greates

I believe loaded words like "subconscious" make it difficult to come up with new explanations. It's interesting that when the body is happy and relaxed the mind is not aware of it. So there seems to be a continuous struggle b

It is surprising that the exact mechanism of this behavior is not known. It must be related to habits. To the microbiome where most of our decisions are made. Would like to know more about how to leave out the conscious mind. I notice that

Still I don't get it. There are two creatures, the caterpillar and the butterfly. Which one came first?... Complete metamorphosis is a circular process as pictured here: http://burns-classroom.weebly.com/module-6-plants

I couldn’t understand exactly but do they assume that the caterpillar came before the butterfly and butterfly evolved from the caterpillar? If so is there evidence for such an assumption?

I'm happy to notice that mathematics is no longer confined to academic journals. Anyone can contribute at any level. I wish a similar destruction of academic walls to other fields, especially physics.

I think you are being sarcastic, but I happen to agree with you that there are lots of physics theories based on spherical cow assumption.

Yes, I agree. He theologian's knowledge is definite in the sense of absolute. But knowledge gained in the lab is definitely knowledge under given circumstances, but absolute kndwledge. This turned out to be a good example about the imp

Thanks for the references. I could only find this online which looks similar to what you have by the same authors: https://cs.uwaterloo.ca/journals/JIS/VOL15/Caldwell2/cald6.p... Looks very interesting.

The referenced article mention this in passing without giving a reason. But didn't Pythgoras use musical whole number ratios like 2:1, 3:2 and 4:3?If so he must have considered 1 and 2 to be numbers.
