I prefer my PDF static, my meticulously edited LaTeX would be ruined by sticky fingers. However, something I much would like is better copy to clipboard from PDF. Non trivial input with tables and line breaks turns in to indecipherable alph

That rings true, I spent a weekend in the 90s to teach myself. I taught a bunch of people to juggle since - usually with an instructor an hour to reach something like juggling is achievable.

I would suggest learning juggling a basic 3 ball cascade. It’s great for training concentration and coordination, and also quite addictive.

I studied physics and mathematics in Sweden, with lots of female colleagues. At my Uni the 2 most segregated subjects were philosophy (only men) and gender studies (only women). Of course thinks may have changed since the nineties.

I have the feeling that some policy maker are not aware of the severity. But let's say they are. Now they make a new policy. How do we gauge what the impact of this policy? This falls within the realm of said scientist. How to suggest

They are doing exactly what is expected of climate scientists. They are not policy makers, they gather and process data to build predictive models. Now they are scared of what they predict. Why require that they also come up with solutions,

I did this as an experiment on myself in high school during listening comprehension tests and found I’m remember details much better while doodling. I still do it, intermixed with other kinds of notes.

Your misunderstanding is a perfect illustration of why writers prefer simpler terms. That said, I’m sure you’d been ok with electrolysis, and anyone uncertain could look it up. Try looking up water splitting likely yields Old Testament stuf

I worked many years in particle physics. It is coordinated within each experiment. You can’t just publish as a lot of people stand behind the work there must be consensus. There are abundances of physics sub groups, article review boards, r

Contrary to popular belief, there’s lots of work going on in experimental particle physics, and there’s a lot planned. Physics didn’t stopp in 2012 with Higgs discovery, it is not likely to stop in the near future either.
