In my experience, USPS has been at least as reliable as FedEx and UPS. I've had more issues with those two (late shipments, delivery to wrong address, losing things in the mail) than I've had with USPS. I've also been impress

There's some interesting and controversial stuff in here. I am very excited about extension everything. I also like the new extension method syntax; much cleaner and a much clearer expression of intent.

This is big. I used to work for a manager who didn't even have a computer at home (and no smartphone in 2013). She definitely excelled at keeping tech out of her daily life.

We've had multiple people prominent enough to make the front page of hacker news in the last few months. Maybe we should get some statistics on how many people are prominent enough and controversial enough to land on the front page of

Wow, fuck Google. They really should consider re-adopting "Don't be evil" for PR proposes at the very least. (This isn't too say other companies don't pull the same shit; fuck them all just as much)

Non-tech people have no idea what Docker is. Still even a lot of the less up-to-date people know what it is and I suspect vanishingly few people (relative to something like GitHub) really understand it beyond the mechanics of the commands.

I came from a school with a large Hard of Hearing population... I've really come to appreciate captioning on all videos. Mainly I just don't like listening to people say things very much, most videos have super annoying soundtrack

This is very interesting and I like the finance model a lot. I'd be curious to see more details on the syllabus, however. I also have questions about the quality of instruction. There are some big name institutions listed, but that doe

But piracy is good right? Death to DRM! If someone doesn't want to pay they should be able to get the content for free, then they can decide if you deserve to be paid. --- That content above seems to be very popular sentiment on HN and

Google has an inordinate amount of money to spend on inordinate amount of content review. Deleting history and evidence of war crimes is Evil; good thing Google had abandoned their earlier aspirations.

Interesting. At least in my experience in the us, people paying cash is much, much slower than using credit or debit. All it takes is one customer paying cash to turn a fast register into a storefront-filling queue.

While I get that you could argue that 'pregnancy is the worst std' with 18+ years-long untreatable consequences, I don't really see the appeal for something that just targets pregnancy. As a gay male, I would tend to favor co
