Just out of interest I tried running on 22 and a very high random port, as you said significantly less, though not no attempts. I think it's a false sense of security more than anything.

> A honeypot is designed to attract attackers, and is designed with bad security in mind. I wouldn't say that. You'd be very hard pressed to find a production server without SSH, if not on the default port. I'm doing absol

I understood it as the latter. Something that a webmaster can display to show a DMCA or geographical legal issue.

I have very little idea what service they are actually offering. There's a twitter clone.. but also you pay for some sort of file hosting, and I'm not sure past that.

I'm assuming you're using Chrome. Chrome delays the loading of <video> tags until after <image> ones. It's mentioned on the page I linked to.

Well no, not with Bitcoin at any rate. Every transaction is visible, that's how the attacker knew which funds were stealable.

https://mediacru.sh/ was on the front page a day or so ago, it grabs GIFs and re-encodes them into video (MP4 and OGGv). The results are much smaller and, in my local experimentation, are much, much faster to render than th

They're really not. Embedded video is a fraction of the size, and faster to render to boot.

Doesn't seem to do anything in Chrome/OSX. Error creating WebGL context.

I've had this a lot actually, to the point of absolutely ridiculous coupons that gave me 40%, even 75% off at one point. It's a pain in the ass to have to Google around for a code that lets me pay the same as everybody else.

If you wrote an entire system of opcodes and a currency around them, you wouldn't mess up on an obscure rule and render your coins unspendable.

Have a look at the transaction again. It looks like it was meant to be spendable.

Seeing as the author messed up and made the transaction unspendable, it's clearly not Satoshi actually authoring the patch. Just somebody playing around.

I based those statements on my own observations, though I've never had the time to go and dig any deeper. iMessages push layer did seen to sit on EC2 though, which would imply that other parts of it did too.

They mostly run on Microsoft Azure and Amazon EC2. They also don't really work. iMessage is unreliable at best, and iTunes match just makes home taping look preferable.

There was a piece of consumer hardware that I used for a very short time called the iRam. You basically got a battery backed RAM based disk (presented over SATA) that could saturate just about any application you wanted. Was expensive as he
