You send your email through a client. That client then sends (transfers / SMTPs) that email through an MTA either bundled with it or provided by your mail server. The MTA parses the message, figures out who it needs to go to (To, CC, B

Immediately thought of the toot-n-boom beetle from Raya and the Last Dragon. How neat!

JRE has some excellent guests. Are you only interested in hearing from people you think may be interesting?

> Almost all of us know Joe is a moron. I said this in another comment as well—but a lot can be said that he actually lets his guests talk rather than talking over them as is the habit of some.

One of the things I appreciate about Joe Rogan is that, unlike other podcasts I've listened to, he actually lets the person on the other side talk. There are several podcasts that I will occasionally listen to where the host of the sho

Our kids attend a hybrid school. Home 2/3 days at school 2/3 days. It’s technically a private school but it leans way more classical. During orientation we learned a LOT of our new co-teachers were actually ex public school teache

ssh-compile is my script... It's basically this: #!/bin/sh SSH_DIR="/Users/nvahalik/.ssh/config.d/" echo "" > ~/.ssh/config for i in `ls "${SSH_DIR}"`; do

Does this honor the rc.d prefixes? Eg 0- files go first and then alphabetical? Edit to say that my compile function does a syntax check too… but this is easier than setting up the dir listener.

Another trick I use is to put all of my stuff into .ssh/config.d/ and then run `ssh-compile` and it generates .ssh/config for me. This lets me pull in new config files and hosts without having to redo everything every time.

There is a big difference giving someone a nickname vs. assenting to a reorientation of outward identity. Someone wants a nick-name? Sure. No problem. Someone who was a guy/gal and now claims to be something else? Especially if he&#x2F

Yes. Marriage is a union where two people make a lifelong commitment to each other: their identity is now united. This is a normal and good thing.

I actually meant to say Mononoke, but Spirited Away is one I have watched with my kids—and I'm about to introduce Mononoke to my oldest.

The thing that gets me about Spirited Away (and most Ghibli films) is the sense of being transported. The characters at the end are no longer in a place where they can go back to “the way things were” but somehow it’s okay. So there is this

Babies and their mothers have a special relationship. Don’t feel bad if you are not bonding at the same level. Babies are resilient. Don’t beat yourself up over the little things. You’re going to make mistakes. There are no perfect parents.
