Good luck. Resisting the impulse to open Reddit or Twitter every five seconds is hard. Then having a phone with stuff on but you can’t reflex-open those apps also takes a while.

Twitter laid most of their staff off then Musk gave them an ultimatum of: commit every day, all day, sleep at the office, to Twitter, or get fired. I wonder why there was more work produced in that period.

I suggest you inspect the changelog and any available code for answers you’re looking for. Ensure you don’t have a malicious alternate version. From the Firefox documentation: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/p

Websites that nag me almost entirely get removed for consideration. Since “everyone else does it” your average user receives a lot of them, and a lot of them means people either gloss over them or start disliking them

Not quite sure of how to get this resolved. I suggest you try a different mail provider when you do regain access though. Try using a service like Fastmail over Gmail unless you have a really specific reason for using Gmail. Google support

I am quite sceptical of Notion templates advertised these days. The ones that had hype turned out to be half-baked and bad. It would probably take less time to make your own budget tracker spreadsheet than debug a broken Notion template. Du

I’m very surprised that folks are still building critical security software like this while making elementary mistakes like not using constant time operations. This is a class of vulnerability almost as old as I can remember.

Sure. I don’t feel that every larger project released publicly should seek momentum or recognition to be considered a contribution to software, or that this has to be a goal of any software aiming to grow. Often, folks that are familiar eno

Your argument is that products that start on Mac and later get acquired and ported by megacorps do better? This is a text editor similar-ish to VS Code, though Code is made by MS so yeah. Sublime’s first release was on Windows. Atom support

I get that you need to differentiate your project from others if you want to find adoption, and one way of doing that is to compare it to who you feel are competitors. I do feel that the word “competitor” should rather be “alternative” sinc

I think this has a place. I’ve found myself wanting something similar in the past though found other solutions. It seems you have similar reservations toward Mongo and similar software so it’s unlikely it will follow their path. I remember

I'd love to try this, though the large number of projects that only support MacOS perplexes me. This excludes at least 80% of people with computers that would like to use your software and effectively limits it to a class of folk with

I agree. I don’t have the physical space to keep the content I’d like to keep, however, so I don’t buy physical media. What I do have is a lot of pirated BluRay et. al. rips in cloud storage hooked up to Infuse for viewing. Works well. So l

It's unfortunate, though anything you make online now will be abused readily and should thus be hardened. By leaving it in the state it was, regular users were endangered.
