You're very kind. Thanks for the recommendation. If for some reason I have to branch out, I will check php again.

Wow. My view is stuck at php 4. Didn't even know 5 existed. I only remember Facebook making a big deal of hhvm and php 7 and laravel being considered great but not as great as rails or django.

Today some of the most common development tools like pycharm, android studio and dbeaver are java programs. Your java programs will run on the most obscure platforms (aix, as400) as promised on the package. So despite all the hype and sales

They continue conversations in huge contexts which quickly slurps up their credits and instead of changing their workflow and adapting, they shovel more cash into it so it burns brighter.

You would (probably) be avoiding commonly known exploits while introducing subtle AI-induced bugs like printing logs out of order or not locking/ordering resources properly.

If by monolith you mean multiple processes that you can control separately, each with their own memory state, you can do anything you want with it. That's essentially multiple services.

By concern I meant performing different actions and owning write access to different tables, not having completely separate code bases you seem to have construed for some reason. I would also never connect services without a queue unless th

I use multiple services for resilience. Example: With multiple services that have clear separation of concerns, you can debug and fix your processing layer without stopping the collection layer. You can update a distributor while workers wa

I think the point is 3 doesn't fully apply anymore. And that was the main pain point. You couldn't call a blue in red even if it didn't use IO without some kind of execution wrapper or waiter. Now you clearly can.

To me, claude usually feels like a bumbling idiot. But in extremely rare cases it feels like a sentient super intelligence. I facetiously assumed that in those cases it ran on the correct RNG seed.

I have observed that "fearless concurrency" didn't really do much in this case compared to basic practices like not allocating in tight loops.

This gave me an idea. Instead of writing/maintaining servers and whatnot, why not just open the browser and give [$LLM] access to the development port and let it rip using the puppeteer protocol?
