After so many months, Gemini pro still shits the bed after failing to update a file several times. I'd expect more from the culmination of human knowledge.

Unless you social engineer to export the auth code as QR, take a screenshot, extract the secret key which is pretty much in plain bytes and use it to generate TOTP.

Yes, and you have individual agency while completely paralyzed.

It just aligns generated words according to the input. It is missing individual agency and self sufficiency which is a hallmark of consciousness. We sometimes confuse the responses with actual thought because neural networks solved language

There was actually three! i (as in th[i]s), î (as in ch[ee]se) and ı which sounds nothing like the first two, it sounds something like the e in bag[e]l. I guess it sounded so different that it warranted such a drastic symbolic change.

I mean tha hacker won't know what software is running on the server, unless the server announces itself which can be traced to the repo, but then, why ?? Who cares about this guy's vps? This whole thread makes no sense to me and I

Yes but how? After the overflow they still have to know the address of the next call site and the server would be in a UB state.

Yes, I have lots of opinions! I guess the question at spotlight is: At what point would your custom server's buffer overflow when reading a header matter and would that bug even exist at that point? Could a determined hacker get to you

My C++ from 2005 still compiles! (I used boost 1.32) Most of my python from that era also works (python 3.1) The problem is not really the language syntax, but how libraries change a lot.

Heuristic just means there is a function telling you where to go. For A* it is the goal, for binary search it is lte, for geadient descent it is adam.

For me, claude churns like 10-15 python scripts a day. Some of these could be called utilities. It helps with debugging program outputs, quick statistical calculations, stuff I would use excel for. Yesterday it noticed a discrepancy that le
