I run this in a 1u rack. Rather than mess with a pcie riser, you can power the kvm via an internal USB header from the motherboard to the kvm USB header directly for both power and HID.

Configuration as code has come as long way too along with these immutable OSs. For example I do not miss messing with preseed or kickstart files (I preferred working with kickstart files). Ignition / butane I find is much easier to wor

Unfortunately the implementation in HA also broke a lot of addons from HACS for many people running HA in a container.

I believe the Cilium CNI has this functionality built in. Other CNIs may do also.

Given the history of how we consume stuff like forever chemicals, BPA, roundup pesticides, carcinogenic makeup, and the negligence involved in the Ohio chemical spill and perhaps Boeing, you are very trusting. It's evident that some of

There are many ways to get Elastic wrong, index templates and field types, shard sizes, number of primary and replica shards, node heap size, and those are only a fraction. It's very easy to get Loki right in comparison.

I'm currently migrating from Elasticsearch to Loki, and it's much simpler to run and still meet our requirements. I think Elasticsearch had its day when it's used to derive metrics from logs and performing aggregate searches.

I'm not sure you would use h265 for "better latency" as the encoding overhead is greater than that compared to h264. Sure, h265 requires less bandwidth but it also is a slower encoder. AV1 is supposedly a fast encoder but har
