Sounds cool but have you ever given support to a non tech savvy Excel user? Now add the dimension of an ever changing UI.

As the parent suggested I would terminate the HTTPS connection in an Nginx in front of all your microservices. No microservice needs to handle HTTPS then.

Ok, perhaps we have different views of what refactoring is. From Wikipedia [1]: "Code refactoring is the process of restructuring existing computer code—changing the factoring—without changing its external behaviour. Refactoring improv

Here is my 2 cent: Java developer for about 10 years. CLI is always good to know, Vim, Emacs learn them if you like them. But if you want power and easy overview of large collaborative projects with a lot of code, which mostly working at me

The Jetbrains IntelliJ Idea (Java) IDE has support for a lot of REAL refactoring, not sure what you mean. I'm very impressed by how much the IDE can help me with. https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/2016.3

It will be interesting to see how the US solves this problem without raising taxes. If it solves the problem (which i hope).

If it happened you can give an example of when it happened. But if someone states: "...but are not allowed to cultivate, maintain and respect our own (American) culture." he/she must back it with something other than feelings

This seems to me, as a Swede, as the same rhetoric used by nationalists here in Sweden as well as nationalists in other countries. But it's more a feeling than a fact. " - if an white European American expresses pride at his cult

You can actually use the features of Photoshop in scripts without the need of the GUI. Being able to do that on Linux would be great! http://www.adobe.com/devnet/photoshop/scripting.html

"Syncing is trivial" Have you got any links to help me set up PostgreSQL to Elasticsearch sync?

From my experience Elasticsearch is far from trivial to configure right. At least compared to PostgreSQL.

What about when having different PG database instances that has data you want to join on? Would you still use PG as an aggregated read-only copy of the databases or would you use for example ES?

If you have any writeup about your PostgreSQL to Elasticsearch denormalization/aggregation/transportation methods I'd be very interested to read about it!
