There was a link to here on /r/programming. What really got me hooked wasn't all of the articles about startups, etc., but an interesting Wikipedia article. I forget what it was, but it was in the same vein as "White Cok

Personally, I don't have a problem with people seeing footage of me in public. Well, not too much. I've always thought that since 1) the recording is legal (AFAIK) and 2) I'm okay with it, everyone else should be and if they

This is unrelated to the article, but is anyone else experiencing not being able to scroll with a mouse scroll wheel on this page? I'm using Chrome on Win 7 64 bit and the scroll wheel does nothing, though it still works on other pages.

I think this is a neat idea but I also find it ironic that while so many people here in HN are so adamant about privacy, etc, they also think it's a great idea to livestream all of your phone calls. I suppose it's by choice, but I still thi

As someone with a slight (I think/hope) lisp, couldn't they have gotten someone else to narrate? Might just be a personal opinion, but I know I'd rather have my friend/co-founder/professional voice actor talk rather than me in a commercial

It scares me that you're just going for "difficult to scrape" and "not make them easily indexible by Google." We don't want it to be hard to get our personal information, we want it to be impossible.

It's getting harder for you to go wrong, shubb is waiting in SE UK and I'm here for you in SE US. Wherever you are, I doubt you'll have too much trouble getting people to come control flying robots.

The only thing that would force you to go to a party is not wanting to disappoint/irritate people. If the author doesn't care about having anything to do with other people so much then that shouldn't bother him.
