FYI: InnoDB is transaction safe. MyISAM being ok for basic things.

Oracle just put a price on InnoDB. So unless you got $2000 a year - NO. http://www.mysql.com/products/ Postgresql is your next choice.

some basic profile information like name, photo, recent closings (home addresses) - certifications/qualifications - social network integration which i will add for twitter/facebook/etc - thats all i have for now.

I signed up with an email like username+label@gmail.com. This helps me better organize and it works with GMail. Problem is that even after confirming the email address, when attempting to login it errors out: Please enter a correct username

The API Key/Access Information should be kept secret. At a minimum I can get some account, campaign information, etc. No private information like Credit Card numbers is available.

it won't switch to ExtJS unless it gets trimmed down to like 40kb. It won't. I think this is just a diversification for ExtJS since other frameworks are doing UI components now (jQuery UI will catch up to it soon)

I use Linode from their Atlanta DC. I have their Linode 360 option and it runs 12 websites with mysql and mongodb very very smoothly.
