Wouldn't it make more sense to create an issue on their GitHub repo about this?

Does this support non-python dependencies too e.g. gstreamer? It wasn't clear to me. I'm very wary of a new tool announcement that doesn't appear to mention why the existing tools/solutions were not sufficient. Which gap

I thought setup-python handled that already, no? https://github.com/actions/setup-python?tab=readme-ov-file#c... There's also the pip-compatible mode of uv which is much, much faster than pip.

Right, and back round we go: £200 for that is terrible value. And it's still only 512GB! The M4 version coming in the new year will surely bump this up to something more sensible.

But still just 256GB SSD Storage. £200 for the upgrade to 512GB (plus a couple more GPU cores that I don't need. Urgh.

I think it's completely wrong in the context of its role as an ASIC partner. There's a very short list of companies with all the IP needed for these cutting-edge ASICs and Broadcom/Avago might be the best of them. And to be c

Ok, thanks, as rumoured then. I was trying to use Tello but despite supposedly activating the esim in my supposedly supported phone (6a), it reuses to do anything. I've just switched to tossble digits which a) works for me, and b) is m

Does voip.ms work with 2FA services e.g. those used by banks? I have heard it doesn't and that's a dealbreaker for me.

I understood (and agree) with your original point. My comment about not having C experience/knowledge came from the article, where it really did sound like just that.

I'm genuinely surprised there are Rust developers out there that don't know C. Perhaps I'm showing my age, or my ignorance to how much CS education (even self-taught) has changed.

Isn't this GPU-to-CPU? And really slow. And only CUDA. And over IP. And implemented in software. I think it's really very different.

Not so sure myself. eDRAM has been tried many times and yet here we all are, banging our heads against the SRAM scaling limits. It's such a huge risk for cerebras, they absolutely cannot afford to miss. But then you could say that abou

Although I do design things, I'm not a manager so maybe this is just outside my job description, but how do you "hang" during a design process? What does it mean? Leave it for bit and see? Honest question.

I don't think QUIC is a good example. If you realistically want to do something on the internet you absolutely have to use either TCP or UDP. There's no choice in it. But within the confines of your datacenter you can do whatever

Did Cisco really invent MACSec?! I thought it was cooked up by the IEEE and supported in hardware from many vendors. I imagine they all have their own bugs though, it's quite a complicated spec. I know some switch/router vendors a

Providers pushing certain context (usually their own junk) is very frustrating, 100% agree. The 1000s of titles are available, just 95% of them are obscured. I use things like https://www.justwatch.com/uk?providers=amp,dnp,n

Hang on, but we already have a library of DVDs?! The main benefit of streaming and what makes it worth the effort is you have thousands of films available. You've just ignored that part. Yes, that is absurd.

Cool, thanks. The nice thing about the Pi one is that it (used to, at least) support Spotify and various streaming services. After a quick look I can't see that feature on those microcontroller versions.
