There are plugins allowing you to sync via other means (for free). I don't know how the author fails to realise/mention this. I've been using Remotely Save with WebDAV or years without issue. And the notes are all just markdo

I don't think this is about simulation. Python requires an additional DSL layer in order to express parallelism. I've personally no interest in learning that, or anything like that stuck on top some other language that's simi

I can't even get simple code generation to work for VHDL. It just gives me garbage that does not compile. I have to assume this is not the case for the majority of people using more popular languages? Is this because the training data

Imagine if this was all automated, even scripted, so even kiddies could do it, or others with almost zero security knowledge. I'd really, really like to think most of us don't follow this terrible security practice based on a bad

In my personal experience, OpenBSD going against the RFC and being different to everyone else has made more headaches for me.

And as mentioned in a comment elsewhere, LPDDR6-PIM is coming along too https://wccftech.com/samsung-collaborates-with-sk-hynix-in-p... We'll see that before anything built around HBM or GDDR.

This research requires a custom memory controller that's doing "weird" things, the CPU isn't really getting involved here. It's very different compared to row hammer in my opinion. If you have a custom memory contro

They handle many clients but they absolutely do not play in sync. That's never a requirement for them and I'm not aware of any web radio protocol supporting that feature. Web radio is not the right solution for a silent disco type

Snapcast has a webapp and a native android client. Although I'm not sure how well it handles many, many clients. In theory, if all on the same WiFi they should all play in sync like a silent disco (at least for those not using Bluetoo

I did actually look a bit harder before I commented, I'm aware of how the media works. "Unleashing American Energy" pauses (cancels) all the "Green New Deal" programs as stated in the article. There was supposedly

I'm certain they don't check every brick. In the same way I shouldn't have to check simple maths. Today's "AI" can't even reliably add two numbers, it's ridiculous.

The scary thing is while a construction labourer knows how to properly lay bricks, an AI's output is reliably unreliable. Does the foreman have to go round checking every little thing on the site? That would be a waste of time. Using t

I agree. In the exact same way that hyperscalers now build some of their own network stuff, they still buy an absolute boat load from traditional (specialist) vendors.

You were right in this context. They have previously partnered with Broadcom to make their TPUs, rather than work directly with TSMC. But I read it's actually Mediatek instead for this generation.

Wouldn't a 3d torus network have horrible performance with 9,216 nodes? And really horrible latency? I'd have assumed traditional spine-leaf would do better. But I must be wrong as they're claiming their latency is great here
