That's a bit confusing when gigantic.com is "one of the UK's largest independent ticket agencies".

True and this is a feature I love. Except if you go too big, it seems to crash. I'm yet to work out what the limit is but when I'm unsure I reach for glogg.

Exactly the same as every other hardware supplier. For pi there was some kind of scheme for businesses who _actually_ needed the hardware in order to stay in business. No idea how that worked. Either way, this is all history. Raspberry Pi b

I don't think it does market itself that way. People seem to think it does, and want it, but I don't see that claim (or even the words "open source") on either the trading company or the charity About Us pages. Plenty of

I've only ever paid RRP and I strongly suggest you do to. Better yet, there are plenty of Pi 4 to purchase these days.

Going forward, hopefully modern software will use the modern approach of AF_UNIX sockets in Windows 10 and above: https://devblogs.microsoft.com/commandline/af_unix-comes-to-... EDIT: And it would be interesting for so

The price in my market is back to normal for the versions I want. Has been for a month or so now. I don't see why the other versions won't follow soon enough, exactly as was promised at the start of the year.

The github link I posted elsewhere explains why WSL1 is far more performant, most don't need that hack in the WSL1 case (but doesn't hurt).

Turns out you guys are right. I tried a bigger repo and it was slow. I tried our large monorepo and it was utterly unusable (literally minutes for git status). I've found this thorough explanation https://github.com/mic

Presumably if only 4 years ago that would still have been WSL2, but they have done a lot of improvements over the years. The audio and graphics WSLg stuff is pretty cool. Maybe worth giving it another try.
