Appreciate the thought behind using the hashed URL to avoid leaking PII. That does make comments difficult too though because of refs being inserted by various social platforms. Not sure how one would handle that though

Mmm. My two cents... There's some extrapolation here. I've tried multiple models of taking notes with digital tools. They all come with this assumption that our brains are thinking in a single mode at any given time which is not p

Only looking at this because I saw this reply. I don't have a visceral reaction to it, but I do believe that the design of the clock is rather ambiguous. From my perspective, the minute hand is actually at ~24 hence the hour hand being

Extend this comment to the most creative branches. When it comes to being digitally creative you need an OS and hardware functioning together without any hiccups. I've worked on iPads and other tablets and from drawing to music making,

Without knowing the scale it's hard to answer this. But in general HAProxy is THE layer to sit in front of web servers. From DDoS protection rules to a true set of metrics and a real dashboard (good luck w/ Datadog metrics for Ngi

Catching up on this as well. More chatter going on on https://twitter.com/hashtag/npmlayoffs?src=hash . Interesting conversations around the future of Node and the incredibly close tie in it has to npm. More interestin

Cannot speak for industry, so speaking from experience in academia when we were learning functional programming (FP). The key difficulty there is the paradigm shift in thinking. For most people our thinking matches imperative programming. A

I love this. I do wonder though if anyone can educate me on the choice to do a monthly sponsorship? I think that's awesome but at the same time, there are a lot of developers I want to send 10 dollar tips to for that library that they

As a layman on this topic, I'm curious about the difficulty around this project: It seems like a lot of people have gone through similar experiences of building an 8 bit CPU simulator/emulator. Curious why it's not 64 bits. I

I have a feeling theyve done some form of traffic analysis. My default open vpn setup on a digital ocean box with the port changed to 443 is blocked somehow with both major ISPs here.

Thanks. I'll be taking a look at tunelling soon. The material around it is difficult to read and put together to be honest. I'm right now using Nord via their ovpn files. Somehow it made its way through one ISP ruleset. For my dig

It's actually infuriating this ban. I'm from SL, currently on Nord VPN which hasn't been blocked by 1 of the major ISPs. Both major ISPs are aggressively blocking standard open vpn traffic however. I'm not entirely sure
