This is truly sad, Arthur is up there with Wishbone in the PBS pantheon for me and fostered a deep love of reading. Incidentally the author of the original Arthur books, Marc Brown, visited my siblings' school and he was a thoroughly d

I feel this way about interactions on mobile. I grew up using Android and still have my phone on 3 buttons mode because it seems obvious. Have been using iDevices for work and some of the tap and swipe gestures are so unintuitive, along wit

I don't know if anything has changed necessarily, but anecdotally I think the business model has been validated in a high profile way. Accruing returns on stored money (like RobinHood) has largely supplanted the wave of "fresh tak

Appreciate it, thank you! I'm looking for Obsidian to be more of a replacement to Noteplan though.

Do you have any tips for making Obsidian function like Noteplan? I'm out of the iOS/Mac ecosystem but love how it works.

Perhaps I haven't used Obsidian enough to figure out an organizational method or workflow for this, but I've really been hoping for a universal version of Noteplan 3. I love having the notes and maps but also want to use it as a d

Right, that was my assumption too. Sideloading would be my way around, but I'm guessing there may be some runtime signing or containerizing involved as well, else every Android vulnerability just became a Windows vulnerability.

I think Teams integration is more of an acknowledgement that video-calling and workplace collaboration is a default usecase for desktop computing (like email, calendar, calculator, text editing). >They are making claims about it being mo

Not a fan of the Android apps installable and discoverable onto Windows...but through the Amazon appstore. Weird, and I'd much more prefer installing to PC from Google Play itself.

I think an interesting thing mentioned at the end about the Microsoft Store is that if developers use their own "commerce engine" they keep 100% of the profits.

Looks like a ton of nice little QoL improvements for the vast majority of people especially with Snap and Multiple Desktops, with monitor layout memory. Hope that taskbar can still have programs with "non-combined" windows, as opp

I'm a fan of Google Assistant's usefulness and I generally agree with this. The Assistant craze seems more justified when you consider that companies like Google and Amazon are using it as a way to build datasets. It's a stra

I think it's likely that there is a play here to create a slightly extended line of Mustang branded vehicles that have a focus on performance. Bronco, Mustang, and F-Series are tentpoles for the Company, and hold huge name recognition.
