I was typing "visual programming fails because of collaboration", as in testing, code reviewing etc, but then graphic designers can collaborate on projects so I don't exactly know.

You're trying very hard to claim that Rust is easy, that is very irrelevant to the topic. > Just to clarify, you were learning Rust while employed they did not say that, but you had to frame it that way to, again, claim that Rust is

you're being too hung up on native APIs, view transition as a concept is nothing new and has existed in front-end frameworks for ages

View transition is not such an impressive thing for a front-end framework to have, most do. Idk why magic move isn't built-in every front-end framework these days.

That's not a "problem", it's a choice. Other examples where your "solution" isn't applicable is any code editor/video editing software (any software really) with multiple panels. Software generally do

Not all of the window is usefull all of the time. Sometimes only the terminal half of the IDE is, sometimes just the editor half is. Same to the browser, sometimes you only need to look at the console and not the website (while testing some

people are conflatting abstracting with centralizing. A central piece of code is not neccessarily an abstraction, so seeing them as (wrong) abstraction is...wrong. They can be centralized by neccessity, regardless of how poor an abstraction

Python is not simpler than javascript, its win data science is what lead to the popularity overal. Javascript standard and math libraries are still pathetic even today. Also js only started becoming a thing in the backend/desktop space
