Next is nowhere near "equally" as bad as CRA, it's made by a company not a *community* of front end engineer wannabes. Try to make honest assessments instead of whatever works in favor of your argument. Next is that minimal s

CRA does much more than just supporting jsx, which any bundler should be able to do without a "plugin". What else does that plugin do? HMR? Equivalence to CRA is next, which is a set of opinionated loaders and config. But next als

Vite is in the same category as webpack. Is CRA in the same category as webpack? I don't think so, it's a webpack wrapper, not a bundler.

VSCode can do all of that, and for most languages, VSCode's/OSS LSPs are often more performant/feature rich than whatever running inside IDea that takes tens of minutes to index a project in my computer. Who should I take ser

how do you say, implement full-text search in a local first manner? How about vector search? (don't even know if it's a thing yet, sounds possible these days). Imagine saving a local copy of a docs site (a sizable set of pages) an

Cool theory but no one uses typescript, github or C# because of VSCode. It's a nonsensical narative if you just spend more than a few seconds thinking about it. All those things dominated their niche before VSCode came into the picture

Half of these people are software engineers, many in their early 20s. I don't even need the gender card to point out that the group seems highly biased.

Idk about next 15 but you can literally bootsrap next 13 using a single index.tsx with typescript & next being the only 2 dependencies in package.json. No typescript is fine too. It's not new, has been the case for a few years, so
