Why do you assume that homeless women are homeless because of abuse and not drug addiction, while homeless men are homeless because of drugs or PTSD? These assumptions seem incredibly sexist, especially in light of the fact that the curren

Healthcare costs have ballooned for much the same reason as university tuition. There are 2 university administrators for every professor vs 10 hospital administrators for every doctor. http://www.chronicle.com/interactives

“We’re going to be co-CEOs” — just decide who’s ultimately running the thing — the company needs a tie-breaker to move fast — I can’t think of one great company that had co-CEOs. How about Atlassian?

It might be possible for the government to get a court order compelling Apple to turn on iCloud syncing for particular individuals as a way to get around device encryption. Maybe that is what is going on here.

It is not the cost of the ride, it is the fact that an Uber driver will actually show up. In many cities if you call a taxi company at 2am, no one will answer.

Its actually even better than that. Because the tourist season in Salt Lake City is winter, there are no homeless when the tourists are there.

I think you need to read your own article. Its conclusion states, "Utah experienced a less dramatic, but still impressive 71 percent decrease in chronic homelessness since 2005." Are the numbers slightly inflated? Sure. Is it

Salt Lake City has a lot of seasonal homeless, people who come for the summer and leave for the winter. Seasonal homeless are not counted as chronic homeless. There are no homeless people anywhere else in the state so the ones you see in S

Freight ships are actually very green when compared to airplanes, cars and trains. You have to look at emissions per kg per mile.
