Yes, it should be. Do you think govts will tolerate Western corporations having the power to ban any politician?

True, the article is about govt censorship. But my (and others) point is that this type of censorship is going to increase. And its partly because of western corporations' willingness to censor anyone they want. Recently Twitter and Fa

I predict that more and more govts will take similar steps in the future. In the last few days Twitter and Facebook showed the world what they can do (and how effective it is) and govts all over the world are now watching them very closely.

In my experience YouTube's recommendations are pretty predictable. If you watch a specific type of content it will keep recommending videos from that type until you search for something else. Sure, it makes some mistakes but you can al

This is the first time I am hearing that CDC doesn't mean science or experts. Maybe they lost their reputation in this pandemic but before that I remember them being pretty reputable. And perhaps you missed it but I said: > they wer

I have also found scientists to be very tolerant. But I was not talking about the scientists, I was talking about the platforms where scientists talk. Science magazines (like this one), social media and (more broadly) the internet. More oft

The main problem these days is that people will say anything they want in the name of science and if you even dare to express the slightest doubt you will be called a science denier. It's like science has become a religion and you aren

I was speaking from my own experience. Many of my family members are vegetarians and some of them are in the milk business (small scale). Pretty much everyone knows that the cow's milk should go to the calves. Sure almost all companies

Maybe vegans do that but most vegetarians I know of don't eat meat for one simple reason: they are disgusted by it. Vegetarians don't really care about the ethics of it. In fact they are fine with animal based products, like milk.

I don't really mind this change. But selective outrage like this is really strange. Some people on Twitter decide a word is offensive and the next day I am just expected to just stop using them. It's hard enough to learn English w

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think any high speed train can go as fast as Hyperloop is aiming for. If you want high speed trains why not complain to your politicians? If your problem is wasting money there are probably thousand

That doesn't even look like Python. If you really want to convert Python to a LISPy language just use hy. It is much more complete. I really hope this proposal doesn't get merged but after the walrus operator I am not so sure.
