The problem is any TV is smart-free if you don’t give it the WiFi password (as article points out), so I’m not sure why’d I pay more for something that would be harder to sell second hand later on? Personally my TV is offline with an AppleT

It’s all about being very deliberate with your use. People are getting ahead of themselves right now for sure. It’s still a monumental leap in UX!

For my use case I use it for input processing, it’s just amazing that way. Hallucination is a huge problem, but you can avoid it.

Without Nadella footing the compute bills, nobody would be taking about OpenAI. He’s brilliant, he let the start up take on huge risk to quietly claim the gains for m$.

And plenty of reason not to: search ads.

Google also has Sundar and Ruth who’d rather focus on how to get another ad on the SERP than kill the golden goose. They’re not going slow, they just don’t have the leadership for the moment.

Ah, you didn’t see the forms somebody at google had to fill out to make that form! Three design documents, committee review LGTM, director-level LGTM, VP approval for headcount of person to make the form, HR forms to process head count to m

It’s here, it’s real, and we have to deal with it as a society. The goal of the “AI Ethics” professional class to have all AI be approved by well-compensated PhDs in corporate labs has always been a paternalistic farce. Common people deserv

I’ve been using ChatGPT to general SQL and it’s either amazing or totally wrong. But that’s on 3.5, I’m fairly sure 4 would be nearly fully reliable.

I don’t think it’s really accurate to call anything coming from Gurman/Bloomberg a “leak”. I think leadership just use him to signal to Wall Street what their road map is. This is intentional.
