Many websites and apps can do this, but explicitly do not in the interest of 'security' and 'anti-fraud'. Discord is a pretty bad offender of this.

In iOS 2 UIKit was far more 'mature' of a framework than SwiftUI was, and it wasn't full of missing stair steps like basic navigation pushes working without it being a whole irritating song and dance, lazy loading table cells

One clever trick I’ve seen is where before the text the goes out of the context window, it gets summarized by the llm and then that smaller summary is put into the context window and is continuously updated. It also reminds me how human mem

IMO I miss static typing at around the 500 line mark especially when making programs. I was surprised it was that fast.

IMO this is going up the spectrum from runtime checking to static checking, and it becomes more and more useful when you are writing libraries for mass consumption or working in large codebases with a lot of developers. I wish I had stuff

This is what a design system is about, you set up the standards of essentially an enum, give them names and say that if the designers want to change it or add something new, they need to add it to the design system. 14 point fonts becomes

I've also noticed an aspect of group think at that level, people who go against the current philosophy of the group, even if they are unemotional about it, tend to get booted out or fired too.

IMO remote works better in big co vs. small co, since you will never interact with a large amount of teams in person. They can be and will be many offices away. Big co has issues in adopting the latest tools, but that's about it.

IMO discords insistence on constant relogins and phone numbers for most things makes it not work well for many, including those who cannot give phone numbers for privacy or other reasons. The forum format has a lot of advantages.
