Yes to everything you said and also to what i said :) You just took it personally. The whole idea is I'm trying to place the "expert" software engineers in a position where they're not the experts to make them understand

Hmm how is it zero knowledge when you can be tracked to a single installation of an app? I thought zero knowledge means they ask a "trusted" 3rd party, i.e. the government. And that says yes/no, without passing any ID details

> That doesn't make sense, all IDs are already in a single government database. Kind of by definition in fact, for IDs to be useful they need to be emitted by a central authority with associated security and revokability guarantees.

Why is zero public repos a criteria? I paid github for years to keep my repos private... But then I don't participate in the stars "economy" anyway, I don't star and I don't count stars, so I'm probably irrelle

The thing is, neither the software engineers nor the users know wtf should be done completely. Communication across domains is hard. Let's try a physical items example: have you ever ordered a piece of furniture or other home improveme

Every game logic update, not only physics, should run on a timer that's fully independent from the frame rate. The only place where that doesn't matter is fixed hardware - i.e. old generation consoles, before they started to make

If a law allows a store up to a certain size, and someone builds a store of that size, has the law been abused?

From what I remember, Japanese zoning allows small shops (there's a size limit) in any residential zone. That means no car trips when you run out of bread or milk. Smartest property of that zoning system IMO.

You're assuming there is only one internet connection in my home network, for example. The "easy" trick where your ISP gives you routable addresses does not work when there's more than one exit. Still want to help? :) An

It's not like anything has changed, except the running out of IPv4 part. Edit: or maybe they added 12 more extra configuration protocols to manage, in the name of "ease of use".

It's not the game. You just press the PS button and then you can turn off the controller that is running out of battery from a system menu, turn on another and go back to the game. At least on the PS4 and 5.
