Business idea: turn this into a skinnable library and license it for a couple hundred to wannabe gacha peddlers. Or make it more predatory and up the price to a couple thousand.

Just AI tools? Most "modern" chat apps suck at text selection because they're in Electron. I can't select parts of whatsapp messages for example.

Technical question: why does this blog scroll so slowly on my firefox/mac? Compared to most other websites i've opened lately in the same browser, not only minimalistic sites like HN.

Well… ever since Unity came out indie games have been hard on your hardware. Anecdata: the first x-com reboot was nicer on my laptop battery at the time than random indies at the same time. Also it definitely had way more poligons.

Yeah but if I want to pass it to friends I need a link describing the project. I could write a summary myself but they may ignore it or find it too hard to verify.

Is there a description of this project on any other site? They clearly can't post it's bot bait on the git repo, and maybe not on the leaderboards site because it's linked from the repo. But there must be some announcement ab

Skyrim runs well [1] on my M2 mac mini through crossover and rosetta. So most older games will run even better. The real question is what happens when they drop Rosetta. They promised they'll keep the APIs related to running 32 bit gam

Brightness and contrast are also gamed to hell and back. You have to go to some very specialized review sites to read about contrast at low brightness (lights off software development scenario, or maybe even lights off gaming). I must admit

Hmm besides the 8 Gb being there mostly for market segmentation... Does this mean the Neo/Air aren't useful for lightweight gaming at all? Lightweight as in indie-ish games, not as in session length.
