Bing might actually be heading towards a major slice of the search engine market. Right now everyone's browser defaults to Google search. Partly this is because most people still have Win XP and when they got those the default (Windows live

In London Starbucks is usually the best choice unless you know which local places are good. A lot (in fact I would say the majority) of the mom-and-pop places in the center are just as expensive and serve much worse coffee. From a recent re

I'm actually use it to find addresses in text, for validation I usually use in the Django built in which is very liberal. Incidentally this does correctly pick up UK e-mail addresses (tested with .co.uk .org.uk and .net.uk).

How significant is a 45 minute delay to news that Tiger Woods was in a car crash? Unless it's 30 minutes to the start of a tournament and betting hasn't closed yet the delay is insignificant.

Finding engineers/programmers seems to be a real problem for potential entrepreneurs. I thought I might try and write up some of my experiences - I plan to post this to a whole bunch of the London start up lists where the worst offenders ha

Huh, interesting. The code supplied is: try { return true; } finally { return false; } Which returns false. I guess this is because of the guarantee that the finally block will be run, no matter what. The JS interpreter must be catching the
