Keep in mind the original post is an opinion piece with a political agenda, it is not evidence based. There is no shortage of bad opinion pieces with all sorts of terrible politically driven opinions out there. This is one of them.

> OPINION: Separating ‘gifted’ children hasn’t led to better achievement This is an opinion piece, it is not evidence based. Why was "OPINION", which is part of the original title, removed?

How many troll farms exist in the USA? Perhaps they're simply an arm of PR and reputation management nowadays. Anyway, further evidence that social media is bad for society.

It's a biological urge for many, which makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint. Sure some don't have it, and some control it, but that's clearly not the majority of our species otherwise we wouldn't be so ubiquitous.

The "fertility crash" is only impacting the developed world. As the article directly states, global population projections are set to grow by another 3 billion. I would call that a fertility explosion, not a crash, but most of tha

Moving will briefly introduce new experiences but you will quickly adjust. Finding and developing new interests and hobbies is a much better longterm solution.

You're looking at the symptom rather than the disease. The despair is the disease. Drug and alcohol use are from people self-medicating their symptoms. If anyone cared to address this problem, they'd look at what causes despair. T

This is not too surprising for many reasons. Also, a significant part of modern American culture actively devalues men and thinks of men and masculinity as problematic. This is particularly true within certain political movements and social

Making candidates white board is basically an ego driven hazing process, "we had to do this stupid exercise, so you have to as well! Ha ha!" It also gives people a bad taste in their mouth, don't ever forget the candidate is

The polar extremes are good examples? Hardly. Design is much like politics right now, it's hilariously sad when there is no concept of moderation or a middle ground.

Let's not forget there were many light, medium, and dark interfaces before the flat design trend took over UI, but since those pre-flat interfaces were almost always built around usability rather than some stark design theory, they wer

Somewhat ironically, OLED PWM causes eye fatigue and other problems in a significant number of users. Anyway, dark backgrounds and dark interfaces can and did exist without participating in the flat design trend.

Let's be honest, dark mode is only necessitated by the whole flat design trend which uses glaringly bright whites and stark interfaces. The flat design trend is so tired, it never looked good, and it promotes bad UX/UI. That has a
