Is there a hunger problem, or is there a poverty problem? The USA has an obesity crisis and the overwhelming majority of the population is fat, obese, or morbidly obese. Is that hunger? Or is that from poverty? Or something else?

Fascinating, I bet the vast majority of the population has no idea regarding the dangers of canning. Wouldn't this risk apply to all food preservation?

That sounds astronomically high. There are sites with billions of visitors and they certainly aren't making billions of dollars. Some of the popular news sites would fit that bill and they surely have access to the highest quality and

Isn't Minecraft still popular? Why shut it down rather than let it sit there or sell it? I'd think with the increasing popularity of Netflix that'd still be popular as well.

Sounds like a good goal, though it also sounds ripe for abuse. Will "fake scientific papers" be a new version of fake news? A surge of industry or agenda funded junk or cherry picked science?

Well obviously, making something up requires no effort or reporting or verification. You just make something up. It takes infinitely more resources to refute and disprove BS then it does to produce it.

What if you could enter a special private iMessage chat with someone where to decrypt and read/reply the participants had to verify each message with Touch ID? Good or bad idea?

I get the feeling it's very top heavy, with the vast majority coming from in-app purchases of games. Presumably these are the ones advertised relentlessly too.

Shouldn't it be a giant red flag to a reviewer when the app is focused on an entirely fictional premise? If the app was claiming to grow a dinosaur in your backyard after you pay $400/mo would it be treated any different?

How does garbage like this get through the App Store? I thought Apple was notoriously strict on approvals? Also, do people still use the App Store? I don't think I have casually browsed for apps in 5 years or more.

Interesting read, I appreciate stories like this and I think they are even more interesting when the struggles, dips, failures, mistakes, etc, are included in the narrative. Often, persistence pays off. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Where is the presumed aluminum exposure coming from? I recently read about a relationship between alzheimers and pesticides. https://www.nature.com/articles/srep32222 There is obviously much more to learn.

Seems like a colossal waste of limited resources and tax revenue. Maybe every non-violent criminal should be put on house arrest with an ankle bracelet instead? Then they can work off a fine, do community service, etc?
