   This idea that not letting kids access social media is harmful is something I don't understand. We don't allow our kids to use social media. Some of their friends do, and some of them do not. Doesn't seem to be a problem in

   Work from home is a productivity killer for me. While maybe I can get spurts of output, it's just harder to communicate and collaborate through digital means. (I'm on the spectrum and that has a lot to do with it.) But I honor tho

   With schools. This is narrowly focused on education, so the slippery slope concerns don't hold much weight. Although it's worth noting that many jobs, office jobs included, prohibit phone use.
