And if the price is reasonable, and they can actually deliver them, it will sell like crazy. Most people are looking to get around, not be inspired.

That's a bizarre argument. All humans need shelter, whether it's a tent or a house.

I think it would be better if there was a little more of a barrier, like you had to get a prescription from a doctor or addiction counselor, but it was free. I think we should allow people already addicted to use clean/safe drugs in sa

Learning these esoteric languages seems like the opposite of what you want to do if your goal is to create employable engineers in as little time as possible.

I agree that Java has a lot of silly boilerplate, but I don't see that as a huge hurdle. Most people will use an IDE that populates it for you. Keep in mind this is for a complete beginner. Dependency management with either Java or Pyt

I honestly think these things are somewhat overrated. If you want to work at Google right out of school, maybe they matter more (particularly credentialism.) But I got my first three tech jobs simply by applying on the website, including on

I agree with this. It seems like they should start with python or even java to learn the basics in a relatively straightforward environment, but one that also implements a lot of constructs in a fairly standard way. They also both have well

I have no problem with this. We should not have to rename ourselves, or change our language because of computers or because of lazy companies' refusal to modernize. Both computers and companies serve us, not the other way around.

There's no need to get a new TV, unless your Roku TV lacks HDMI ports. Mine has plenty. I've been thinking of moving away from Roku anyway though, because they seem underpowered. Most of the apps on mine are a bit laggy, whereas m

This seems to only consider salaries, which means it's basically meaningless. Personally speaking, 2/3 of my take-home pay is RSUs, and that number has risen much faster than my salary.

A yellow light is not a stop sign, you are allowed to drive through it if you can make it. And it is safer to do so than to slam on the brakes, which might cause the car behind you to hit you.

The tremendous scandal here is that the median salary of a union longshoremen is $100k? I'm not sure why this is such a huge problem. Other skilled blue collar work pays in the same ballpark.
