I don't go to the gym with someone, but there is a big group of people there when I go, and we all know each other. I particularly like that we all have different jobs and come from different backgrounds. Like you mentioned, we all push ea

Great tip. I have something similar, I have a kettlebell right next to my desk (standup, so don't even have to get up to get it) and a set of rings hanging from the ceiling. My office looks a bit weird, but it gives me a great break.

Wouldn't the proper behavior be to provide some sort of back pressure so that it cannot decide for you to no longer backup your data to the replica set? I would expect that if you say you want data replicated, that if it can't handle that u

I don't necessarily think it is a copout. They are bootstrapped, are making a ton of money, and hit the market with a good product right off the bat. Not many companies can afford to do the things they do and still pull a profit. How m

You can use Riak Smartmachines on Joyent's cloud that would get similar performance for an order of magnitude cheaper than what amazon is charging. If you are seeing 300ms response times, you are not using SSD's and you are not using a si

Find a gym that isn't boring. They exist. Flip tires, pull a sled, climb a rope, throw a heavy ball... Doing a bodybuilding routine is incredibly boring, but finding something you like at the gym can be very rewarding. Like anything el

I won't comment on the UAV in the article, but you'd have to be a pretty wealthy person and have some really weird stuff on your kitchen table to have what is on the global hawk. I won't comment on specifics, but there is nothing simple ab

I'm also very curious about this. Even though this is a cheaper drone, some simple voting scheme should be in place with multiple inertial nav systems. That seems fairly typical in the UAV world.
