Very impressed with the mobile UI. Only thing I found was on the Plan tab on mobile there's that tiny extra horizontal scroll. Looks like your app wrapper does max-width: 100%, so if you add overflow-x: hidden you can fix it.

Gotcha; JSX, by colocating related JS and HTML, tempts inexperienced developers to write JS hacks for behaviors already available natively in HTML and CSS. I think that is a fine tradeoff when the alternative is an arbitrary separation of t

You can absolutely implement autofocus which conforms to WCAG. In OP's example, you can imagine the authenticator code input being shown in a modal, and from your link, example 3 of correctly implementing focus order: > A Web page i

The author of this post specifically recommends stretching your budget for the best possible e-bike. By definition, if one stretched their budget for a thing it is nontrivial to replace that thing. Also, people are not robots. Even if you c

On signaling != waste: Of course signaling is not wasteful. Caplan, like any good economist, would readily agree (prices as signals is a cornerstone in microeconomic theory). Employers need a mechanism to identify who is worth hiring, which

I cannot imagine how learning a new version control system would make me more effective. Git stays out of my way 99.9% of the time, and the last 0.1% gets resolved after a few minutes of googling, reading docs, or asking chatgpt.

My point is if you want damages from energy companies for deaths from warming then they should bill you for deaths prevented from cold. It's preposterous to think humans would be better off with less or more expensive energy. In a broa

In my experience, even better than a 30 minute nap is a 15-30 minute Non-sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) or yoga nidra session (popularized by Andrew Huberman). It's a guided meditation of sorts where you do a body scan; as the narrator names d

You're making a silly point. There are not legal substitutes for paying taxes (inb4 loopholes for wealthy and corporations), while there are plenty of more affordable substitutes for Apple products.

Building rich web UI that conforms to accessibility guidelines is nontrivial. A single violation of a WCAG 2.1 success criterion is considered a failure to conform. For example, you can fail if any part of your UI doesn't handle reflow
